The ‘Portrait’ cycle consists of 365 works + 1 a final work. ‘Portrait’ is born from the idea of ‘goin beyond’ the canonical concept of portrait, choosing not to represent the subject in its characteristics.
I choose to synthesize and standardize men, in their anatomical essence, and to highlight the marvelous uniqueness of each individual by metaphorically representing ‘diversity’ with the differentiation of the central nervous system, setting the condition that the observer chooses the ‘Portrait’ who represents him, he must recognize himself.

The “Portrait” cycle was born in 2014 and ends in 2016 year.’Portrait’ consists of 365 + 1, all 365 works measure 70cm x 100cm.
The final work measures 150cm x 90cm. All the works are made with mixed media on canvas, painted with acrylics and enamels. Title, signature, authentication and archive number only on the back.
